Progress Tracking, Updating & Monitoring
Even with best planning and collaboration, things happen. Make sure your project schedule reflects the actual and current reality of the project
Periodic updating i.e. (weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) is an essential step in enabling active monitoring and automated analysis. There are many factors in updating a schedule, from basic tasks like inputting completion percentages to more complex considerations, such as the schedule logic’s alignment with the actual sequence of construction in the field, comparing of current progress (actual vs. planned baseline), earned value calculations, correction of out-of-sequence logic, and identifying potential problem and areas of concerned, impacts, and change orders.
CPMPlanners exclusively designed a “Standard Progress Feedback Format” which ensures the accurate feedback/collection of required data from all concerned not only for updating purposes but also for construction claims including EOT claims, etc and Risk Analysis. It also highlights “Planned Bars” verses “Actual Progress Bar” for each activity in order to highlight the status as “On-Scheduled”, “Ahead of Schedule” or “Behind Schedule” along with the “Critical ” activates & reason thereof for Contractual record.
In all cases, CPMPlanners works in conjunction with your staff, promoting a unified transfer of information between teams. You pass along the necessary information; we prepare and update the schedule, analyze your progress, and produce all of the required reports.
Non-CPM based schedules consisting of open-end tasks always fail in Schedule Health Check & Integrity Tests due to which updating, monitoring and controlling becomes difficult subsequently making the Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for Extension of Time (EOT) claim, completely IMPOSSIBLE!
